    Editor's Note (May 2025)

This review of Kym Campbell's 30-Day PCOS Challenge was written in January 2020 based on Mira's personal experience with the program at that time. While the core principles may remain similar, please be aware that the specifics of the challenge (including content, features, platform, and pricing) may have changed since this review was published. My PCOS Kitchen encourages you to click through to the official challenge page via the links in this post to get the most up-to-date information directly from the source before making any decisions.

Should you join the PCOS challenge or is it a waste of time?

Short answer: Sign up and give it a try. It's free and Kym Campbell is really knowledgable. We don't agree on everything but it can't hurt to do the free challenge. Read more to find out all the details.

Kym Campbell's 30-Day PCOS Challenge is a popular program that aims to help women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) improve their health and manage their symptoms through diet and lifestyle changes.

I'll be giving my honest review of the 30-Day PCOS Challenge to provide an in-depth look at what it includes, and whether it may be a good fit for those looking to improve their health.

    Understanding PCOS

First, let's start by discussing what PCOS is and how it can affect those who have it. If you're a long-time reader then you already know what PCOS is so you can skip this section.

PCOS is a hormonal disorder that affects approximately 10% of women of reproductive age.

It is characterized by a range of symptoms, including irregular periods, acne, weight gain, and fertility issues. It is also a leading cause of insulin resistance, which can increase the risk of type 2 diabetes.

The 30-Day PCOS Challenge is an online program that provides a comprehensive approach to managing PCOS through diet and lifestyle changes.

Who is Kym Campbell of smartfertilitychoices.com?

Kym Campbell is a certified personal trainer and nutritional therapy practitioner with a background in functional medicine. She really knows her stuff!

Kym has personally struggled with PCOS and has used her own experiences to help develop the program.

She really knows what she is talking about. While we may disagree a little bit on the type of diet necessary to address PCOS, I still think she is very knowledgeable.

What is the 30-Day PCOS Challenge?

The 30-Day PCOS Challenge includes a range of resources to help people make healthy lifestyle changes, including:

    • Weekly PCOS Meal Plans
    • Weekly Shopping Lists
    • PCOS Friendly Recipes
    • Nutritional Video Lessons
    • Community Support
    • A PCOS Diet Plan That Gets Results

The 30-Day PCOS Challenge is designed to be a comprehensive program that addresses the root causes of PCOS, rather than just addressing the symptoms.

The goal is to help people make lasting lifestyle changes that can improve their overall health and manage their PCOS symptoms. Now, is 30 days enough to completely change your lifestyle? Probably not, but it does help get you started.

One of the key components of the program is the emphasis on a nutrient-dense, whole-food diet.

If you've followed us here at My PCOS Kitchen for a while you know we recommend the keto diet for this. Our PCOS diet plan recommends only keto meals.

Kym doesn't seem to recommend only a keto diet but she does include a variety of healthy fats, protein sources, and low-glycemic carbohydrates to help support hormone balance and reduce insulin resistance.

She also recommends specific supplements that can help support hormone balance and reduce inflammation.

PCOS Exercises in the 30-Day Challenge

The daily exercise plan included in the program is low-impact and can be done at home, making it accessible to those who may not have access to a gym or who prefer to work out at home.

The exercises are designed to be challenging enough to help but easy enough to do. Plus, these exercises can be modified to suit different fitness levels.

How Much Does the 30-Day PCOS Challenge Cost?

The 30-day challenge is free! This makes it a no-brainer to sign up and participate. Kym does offer another program after the 30-day challenge that's called the 10-Week Beat PCOS program and she has a meal plan platform.

Private Support Group for Kym's 30-Day Challenge

The 30-Day PCOS Challenge includes a private support group where participants can connect with others in the program and get additional support and motivation. The group is led by Campbell and her team, who provide guidance and support throughout the program.

Final Verdict - Should You Join?

Short answer: Yes, why not? It's free and it will help you make some lifestyle changes. See when the next 30-Day Challenge starts.

Overall, the 30-Day PCOS Challenge is a comprehensive program that provides a range of resources to help participants make healthy lifestyle changes that can improve their overall health and manage their PCOS symptoms.

The program is run by a professional, Kym, who has experience in functional medicine and includes a detailed meal plan, exercise plan, supplement guide, and private support group. Give it a go!
