    Low Carb Japanese Recipes

I became enthralled with all things Japanese at the young age of 11 when my mom started hosting Japanese students in our home in Toronto and some often cooked for us too recipes from home. The Japanese culture became such a passion for me that I graduated university with a minor in Japanese language and I have been living in Japan since 2015. I even married a Japanese man!

Being completely immersed in the Japan lifestyle really allows me to experience their cooking culture which is very healthy already, so it was a charm to adapt local flares such as this keto sashimi rice bowl, shougayaki (grilled ginger pork chops) and tamagoyaki (a rolled omelette). You can't miss fried chicken, all time favorite in Japan, so you must try my paleo fried chicken, it's coated with my favourite tartar sauce.
