Mince the garlic and onion. Add the olive oil to a medium pot and heat on medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes, until soft.
Add the tomato paste, mix well with the onions.
Add the crushed tomatoes and all of the spices. Stir well and let simmer for 10 minutes.The sauce is then ready to use.

It will stay fresh in the fridge in a sealed container for 5-6 days, or up to 2 months in the freezer. If you use a food saver, it can last up to 1 year.
