A fresh tomato sauce baked in the oven with feta cheese coated over some keto friendly noodles. You can make this feta pasta recipe in the oven, in an air fryer or in your crockpot.
You can make this recipe using an oven, air fryer or crockpot. You'll first make the tomato sauce and while that's cooking, you can start on the noodles.
Oven method
Add the cherry tomatoes to a baking dish and add the feta brick in the middle of the tomatoes. Drizzle the olive oil all over and add all of the spices (leave out the fresh basil), and add in the garlic.Place in the oven and bake for 50 minutes at 180C/350F. Take out of the oven and mix the sauce with a fork to crush the tomatoes and mix the feta cheese together.
Air Fryer Method
Add the cherry tomatoes to a baking dish that fits your air fryer and add the feta brick in the middle of the tomatoes. Drizzle the olive oil all over and add all of the spices (leave out the fresh basil), and add in the garlic.Place in the air fryer and bake for 30 minutes at 370F/190C. Take out of the air fryer and mix the sauce with a fork to crush the tomatoes and mix the feta cheese together.
Crockpot Method
Add the cherry tomatoes to the crockpot and add the feta brick in the middle of the tomatoes. Drizzle the olive oil all over and add all of the spices (leave out the fresh basil), and add in the garlic.Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3.5 hours. Mix the sauce with a fork to crush the tomatoes and mix the feta cheese together.
Keto Noodles
While the tomato sauce is cooking, make the noodles.Drain the liquid out of the noodles, place the noodles in a pasta strainer and rinse thoroughly under hot water for about a minute.Add the noodles to a frying pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on high heat until there is no more water. Once done, add the noodles to the tomato sauce and mix together.Add your fresh basil to the dish and mix together until the basil has wilted in.
